Oh goodness! I'm glad she's on the mend, and I do sympathize with the relations of people who Will Not Take It Easy--my aunt is one of these, and we (I, my sister, and our cousin her daughter) had to threaten to bungee-cord her to the chair if she didn't stop trying to Do Everything while she was recovering. I recommend the kind that are a bundle of elastics inside a woven tube, they're softer than the ones that are just a length of rubber with hooks on the ends.
